Our Story
In 2006, Penn Cinema opened as a 10-screen multiplex in Lititz, PA. Over the past decade, Penn Cinema has grown to one of Lancaster County’s largest entertainment destinations. To meet the community’s growing demand for the movies, Penn Cinema added over 400 seats in a four screen addition. In 2010, Penn Cinema brought the world’s most immersive movie experience to Lancaster County with the addition of a stand-alone IMAX® theatre complex. Competing alongside some of the nation’s largest movie theater chains, Penn Cinema gained a reputation for quality and success. In 2012, Penn Cinema opened a second location along the riverfront district of Wilmington, DE. Penn Cinema Riverfront includes over 3000 seats in 15 auditoriums and features the state’s only IMAX Theatre.
